Hog Palace Photos

Take a trip down memory lane. There have been many "magic moments" caught on film over the past years. There has also been a fair share of ugly moments. Make no mistake about it, we are not the prettiest team on or off the field. We don't try to be. Oddly enough though, we are very photogenic.

2007 Hog Palace vs. Johnsen Trailer Sales On May 24th, the Hog Palace took two games from the Thursday North League whipping boys, Johnsen Trailer Sales. The following are photos of said whoopin'.
2007 Anderson Tournament The Hog Palace played three games in nearly freezing temperatures in late May to help them reach mid-season form on the diamonds.

Bill Haines Memorial, Binford 2004 Vernis just loves the boys in grey to come back for more. Same camping spot, same multi cases of beer, same result 1-2. We did beat those cocky punks from the Town Hall and their leader Mick Foley in our second game.

Brent's Bon Voyage It was a Stone Grey farewell to the Godfather of the team, Brent Halvorson. The team gathered at the Barnstormer to wish him luck on his new bar.
Old Chicago 2004 The first tournament of the year. We started out lightening quick out of the gates but lacked stamina down the stretch. We finished the day 2-2.
Bill Haines Memorial, Binford 2002 Back again only to have the same results. Jello shots, more beer, and the same 1-2 record
Bill Haines Memorial, Binford 2001 Same tournament, different year, same result. We drank more beer, scored less runs, and ended up 0-3. Better luck next year.
Bill Haines Memorial, Binford 2000 The stonegrey sophomore year at the Bill Haines Memorial Tournament. None of knew who Bill Haines was, but we drank like Billy Idol and played like that midget Billy Barty. Many beers, many laughs, and an 0-3 record.
