The Skipper has sent out an e-mail to almost everyone about this. This is what it said if you are not on the list or decided to delete it. Don't forget to discuss the topics of the
e-mail on the Barnstormer Forum.


Stonegrey Warriors,

I realize the season is over and you may have packed away your softball mind, but it is time to break it out one more time. I have been thinking about the whole sponsorship of the Barnstormer. Pete Haug's dead ass has not paid fees for us for two years now. And quite frankly I am sick of holding my breath waiting for a check in the mail. So next year we will have brand new ownership/sponsorship........ME! I am just going to pay for the sponsor fee out of my pocket every year. My dilemas start here. I will list them in numerical problem form:

1. What should be the new name for our team? Forget about any perverse, sexually overt names because that would infringe on the Blueballs, and besides I got too many children who follow our progress. So I am opening the floor to suggestions from all.

2. We have the opportunity to choose new colors for our uniforms, so what should the new color scheme be? I realize stonegrey and tourquoise are mainstay colors, but I want to break free from the Stormer as much as possible. I am open to the tuxedo prints, tie-dye, or camouflage.

3. The stonegrey.com will change to whatever the new name is also. So our sponsorship will essentially be www.whateverwechooseasournewnames.com. We will archive all the old stuff so it will be on the new site.

4. The only thing that I will ask you all to pay for will be the $1 for the site each year and the uniform. This will also give everyone a chance to change numbers as they choose but if I don't hear from you it will stay the same.

5. I will hold off on the ordering of the sweatshirts until next spring due to the change in sponsorship.

So there is my vision for the future. Let me know what you think and Ill go from there.
